Privacy policy

How Recovr collects, uses and protects personal data, on this website and in its platform.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Your data is never sold

We use your data to respond to you, serve you and improve Recovr. It is never sold or rented out.

Our clients' data belongs to them

Within the platform, Recovr processes invoices and debtor details on behalf of its clients and on their instructions.

Hosted in France

Platform data is hosted in France, within the European Union.

Your rights, made simple

Access, correction, deletion, objection: one email to privacy@recovr.eu is enough.

Who we are

Recovr is a service provided by Management Goes Digital SRL (MGD), a company incorporated under Belgian law with its registered office at Rue Defacqz 78, 1060 Saint-Gilles (Brussels), registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0668.494.405.

For any question about your data, write to us at privacy@recovr.eu.

What this policy covers

This policy describes the data Recovr processes on its own behalf, as data controller:

  • visitors to recovr.eu;
  • people who contact us, request a demo, start a trial or subscribe to our content;
  • professionals we prospect and contacts at our partners;
  • platform users, for managing their account, support and billing.

Data our clients import into the platform (invoices, their own customers' details, reminder correspondence) follows a different rule: the client is responsible for it and Recovr processes it on the client's behalf. This is explained below, under Platform data.

The data we collect

What you give us

When you fill in a form, book a demo or start a trial: first and last name, work email address, phone number, company, job title and anything you choose to write to us.

Our conversations

Emails, meetings and follow-up notes from our sales and support conversations. Some calls and video calls may be recorded and transcribed, after informing you, to follow up on your request and train our team.

Business-to-business prospecting

We may obtain the business contact details of decision-makers from public sources (company websites, registers, LinkedIn) or B2B data providers, in order to introduce Recovr to them. You can object at any time, and we will stop contacting you.

Your browsing

With your consent, cookies and trackers measure website traffic, help us improve the site and measure our campaigns: pages viewed, device, browser, referral source and interactions.

Your customer account

If your company uses Recovr: login details, use of the service, support requests and billing data.

Why we use it

Providing the service to our clients (accounts, support, billing)

Meeting our legal obligations and defending our rights

Legal basis: legal obligation (accounting, tax) and legitimate interest.

Who has access

We do not sell or rent out your data. We only disclose it to an authority where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in the United States or process data there, including Vercel, HubSpot, Google, Meta and LinkedIn. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Prospects and contacts: 3 years after our last exchange, then deletion or anonymisation.
  • Clients: for the whole contractual relationship, then for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require or as needed to defend our rights.
  • Unsubscribing: we keep your address on a suppression list, solely so we never email you again.
  • Cookies and trackers: as set out in the cookie policy.

Platform data

Our clients import their invoices and their own customers' details (the debtors) into Recovr to track and chase payments. For this data:

  • the client is the data controller and Recovr is its processor;
  • Recovr processes it solely to provide the service, on the client's instructions and under the data processing agreement (DPA) signed with them;
  • it is hosted in France;
  • some AI features, such as sorting incoming emails or drafting replies, rely on an AI model provider, which only receives what the feature needs and does not use this data to train its models;
  • our sub-processors and security measures are described in the DPA, which clients can obtain on request.

Received a payment reminder sent through Recovr?

A company uses Recovr to track its invoices and contacted you through Recovr, by email, letter or phone. That company, your creditor, decides how your data is used: it is responsible for it.

For any question about an invoice or your data, please contact that company first. If you write to us, we will forward your request to the company concerned. Recovr never uses your data for its own purposes or to market to you.

If your creditor passes a case to a bailiff or a collection partner, that party processes your data under its own responsibility.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • access your data and get a copy;
  • have it corrected or completed;
  • ask for it to be deleted;
  • restrict or object to its use, in particular for marketing;
  • receive the data you provided in a reusable format;
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before.

Write to privacy@recovr.eu. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, dataprotectionauthority.be) or with the authority in your country, such as the CNIL in France.

Cookies

You choose which cookies you accept in the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time. The cookie policy describes each cookie, its purpose and how long it lasts.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
