About Groupe Morgan Services
Groupe Morgan Services (GMS) is a well-established name in recruitment, temporary staffing and permanent placement. Its business generates several thousand invoices every month, and how promptly they are paid has a direct impact on the group's margin. The Belgian and Swiss entities use different invoicing and accounting software, and before Recovr, each had developed its own reminder methods and timing, often tied to each customer's contractual payment terms. Over time, this lack of consistency began to weigh heavily on operational efficiency.
When Alexandre Boisson joined the company in 2024 to run the Belgian and Swiss entities, he found that accounts receivable relied on very manual practices, largely scattered across the branches.
When I arrived, I saw that each branch had its own way of following up with customers and sending reminders. It all depended on how much time each person had and how rigorous they were, so practices varied enormously and nobody had an overall view of what was actually being done.Alexandre Boisson, Managing Director, Groupe Morgan Services
For Alexandre, rethinking how accounts receivable were organized had become urgent: every reminder needed to be monitored and automated, payments had to come in faster and, above all, the teams had to be freed from the administrative burden.
The real challenge was to standardize and professionalize the process across the whole group. That is where Recovr came in, and it profoundly changed the way GMS works.
Three branches, no unified approach to accounts receivable
In Belgium
In Belgium, invoices are issued in Pratoflex, then imported into Odoo once or twice a week. Before Recovr, each time this data was updated, the AR aging report was exported and sent to the branches so they could spot late payments.
From there, each consultant took over and followed up with their customers in their own way. There was no defined reminder process: each sales consultant was responsible for their own customers and used their own approach, from emails and phone calls to, for the most rigorous, an Excel file to keep track of the reminders sent. As Alexandre puts it:
There was no consistency in the reminders: it all depended on each consultant's time and availability.
With nearly 250 invoices a month, this meant 2 to 3 hours of follow-up and reminders every week for each consultant: a heavy, stressful process that clearly limited how effective follow-up could be.
In Switzerland (Geneva and Lausanne)
In Switzerland, the invoicing and accounting software is different from Belgium: invoices are issued in SAM and the books are kept in WinBiz.
Before Recovr, bank reconciliations were handled by an external accounting firm. Consultants had to export the balances themselves, fill in missing data, send reminders to their customers, then decide when to pass an account to the factoring company, which would then take care of getting the payment in.
With a larger volume than Belgium, close to 1,000 invoices a month, this took each consultant 4 to 6 hours of work every week: here too, a heavy, stressful process that clearly limited how effective follow-up could be.
The turning point: one accounts receivable tool for all three branches
GMS had already considered Recovr in 2024, but put the decision on hold, hoping to improve its processes internally first. Alexandre appointed one person in each branch to handle follow-up and reminders, to bring structure and speed up payments. The limits soon became clear: without a dedicated tool, managing every customer, tracking late payments, sending reminders at the right time and keeping data up to date was an impossible task.
A year later, the situation was plain to see: unpaid invoices kept piling up, payment status was still unclear, and there was still no real, structured reminder workflow. The people in charge of follow-up were overwhelmed, and the board had no structured view of the overall situation.
GMS needed to centralize its AR aging, sync its accounting data and see clearly which customers were paying late. Recovr was the obvious choice.
A rollout tailored to each country
With Recovr, GMS moved from a fragmented way of working to one clear, standardized system, fully aligned with each country's needs. In Belgium and Switzerland alike, the teams now manage receivables in a structured way, without the mental load, thanks to an integration built around their software and local constraints.
In Belgium: a simple integration that follows the accounting cycle
The main step was connecting Odoo to Recovr, and the integration proved quick and smooth. Because the accounting data is updated once or twice a week, the teams chose semi-automated reminders: each reminder is approved by the team before it goes out. This keeps them in control and ensures no reminder is sent before the weekly update of the data synced from Odoo.

In Switzerland: a custom integration through a dedicated API
In Switzerland, Geneva and Lausanne operate as two separate entities, so two Recovr environments were set up. Invoicing is done in SAM and the accounting in WinBiz. To ensure a reliable flow of data, a dedicated API was built to import customers, invoices and payments into Recovr automatically and keep everything continuously up to date, with no manual work.
Recovr also built a feature specifically for GMS Switzerland: early payment discount management, which the platform did not originally offer. It shows the adaptability that a multi-entity group with specific needs requires.
Thanks to these integrations, the teams in both countries were able to structure their follow-up without changing their in-house software. Tailored reminder workflows, detailed views by customer type and by invoice status (reminder in progress, final reminder sent, formal notice, and so on) and unified reporting now give them a clear, reliable view of their accounts receivable.
Your tool has taken reminders and follow-up off our hands. Our teams can focus fully on their customers.
According to Alexandre, this added visibility makes all the difference: in the Kanban view, teams spot sensitive invoices and at-risk customers at a glance, and filter the information to suit their needs.

A lighter workload and unpaid invoices under control
With Recovr, Groupe Morgan Services has moved from scattered, manual accounts receivable management shaped by local habits to a single, reliable system fully adapted to each country's realities. Belgium, Geneva and Lausanne used to work with completely different processes and timing. Recovr has harmonized their reminder methods while respecting how each branch operates.
Recovr adapted to each setup, with the Odoo integration in Belgium and a dedicated API in Switzerland to retrieve the customer and invoice data needed. By centralizing data, automating reminders and providing clear reporting for each branch and for the board, Recovr has profoundly changed the way GMS manages its payments.
The results were immediate and tangible:
- collection times cut in half in both countries,
- a dramatically lighter workload for consultants: 67% less in Belgium and 83% less in Switzerland,
- no more gaps between branches, with one rigorous method shared across the whole group,
- a complete view, at last, of payments, customers and reminders, where no consolidated view existed before,
- reminders that customers see as more professional, which naturally gets them paying faster,
- and teams now focused on their core business rather than on time-consuming admin work.
Recovr has done more than standardize practices: it has given the branches back control and credibility, and given management a strategic view that was impossible before.
For a group spanning several entities, software tools and countries, this flexibility was essential, and the support from our team at Recovr played a decisive role. As Alexandre Boisson puts it:
Your tool has taken reminders and follow-up off our hands. The support throughout the Recovr integration, during onboarding and every time we needed help has been impeccable. You always take great care of us. Your team is very responsive and quick to step in. It's a real pleasure working with you.
So Recovr has not just improved payment follow-up and reminders at GMS: it has transformed them for good, across the whole group.
